Discover the depth of the "MetalScape-Roses". It is a metal collage constructed from brass, copper, and nickel. It is a representation of a rose surrounded by a rose border. The largest rose, in the middle, was made by piercing brass. The flower has been domed for a 3-D effect. Some detail is stamped and there are a few dew drops on the petals that were done with rivets. The rivets also secure the rose to the nickel and copper overlays. The Rose border framing the brass rose is embossed and engraved copper. Some detail has been oxidized for shading to create contrast.

MetalScapes are collages constructed from multiple base metals. Segments are pierced, textured or oxidized in order to vary shapes, textures, and contrasts in a scene. Embossing and stamping may also be incorporated. Some shapes may be domed for a three dimensional effect. All the design segments have been riveted to the metal back plate.
